Volunteering
Volunteers, otherwise known as "gophers", must meet these criteria:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Willing to work a minimum of 16 hours during the convention (at times selected by staff).
- A paid attendee of the convention.
- Capable of speech in English and not hard of hearing as you will need to use a radio.
In return for their efforts, volunteers will receive the following:
- Those who work 16 or more hours will receive a full refund of monies paid for attendance.
- Room space for sleeping.
- Special incentive program. The more hours you put into the convention, the more prizes you become eliglible to win. That's right, special goodies are available for your valiant efforts.
- The three volunteers who put in the absolute most effort and hours will be eligible for a special prize (to be announced at a later time).
