To provide the most extensive anime programming for our attendees, Youmacon now offers a 24-hour AMV room. Inside you will find a laid back atmosphere that is a combination of a video room and a panel room. Depending on the time of day, you may catch an AMV contest screening, one of our many AMV Events, any number of AMV panels, or a selection of the best AMVs from around the world.
The Youmacon AMV department is pleased to have the AMV Wars return once again to run their signature AMV events: Iron AMV and Hentai Iron AMV. Having run their events at conventions such as Ohayocon, SugoiCon, and Anime Central, we are honored that they still refer to us as their home convention. Come see the action unfold right were it all started. Don’t worry, the names may have changed, but the events are still as fun as they ever were. Anime Music Video Contest
Come see the best in AMV entertainment at the Youmacon AMV contest. Creators from all over have submitted their works of blood, sweat, and tears. Take a load off and prepare to be entertained. Come to main programming on Friday and vote for your favorite video and visit again on Saturday to find out the winners.

Iron AMV
The ever-popular challenge famous in Japan where you pit two chefs against each other and force them to make a meal is back with an otaku twist! Instead of chefs, we have AMV Editors, and instead of making a meal, they make an AMV. We provide the footage and they supply the expertise. Come watch the action unfold as we give them two hours, a secret ingredient, and a theme chosen by you! Did we mention the free swag?
