Linkara

LinkaraIn 2008, Lewis "Linkara" Lovhaug made a video critiquing an issue of the infamous Spider-Man "Clone Saga." Nobody watched it. Then a few months later he was picked up by ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com and people started watching him for some reason as he made more and more video reviews of awful comic books. His show, Atop the Fourth Wall, rips apart the worst the comic book industry has produced over the last century and even a few of the good ones. But people don't care about that - they just want to know where he got that magic gun.

To compound matters, Atop the Fourth Wall even features a storyline where an internet reviewer faces off against robots, Lovecraftian horrors, and mad scientists, all in homage to the medium he loves. Are the special effects awful? You bet!

In addition, Linkara also has begun a retrospective on every season of Power Rangers, analyzing the themes, the action, the music, and basically everything that nobody ever wanted to think about before in relation to a show about guys in spandex and rubber hitting each other. You think it's weird for a grown man to be obsessed with a show meant for children? Obviously you've never met any geeks before, have you?

Dominion Method Gaming

Dominion Method GamingDMG has come a long way since its formation back in March of 2009. We knew what we wanted to accomplish when everything is said and done; we wanted to be the very best team in the FGC. With a handful of players and a goal in mind, Dominion Method Gaming set forth to become what it is today; the premiere fighting brand in the US.

The players who makes up the DMG roster are players who are passionate in their trade, players who travel from state to state to compete with other competitors, players who are from the FGC and have gained the respect from the same community where they came from. We came from the Fighting Gaming Community; we grew within the FGC and became the perfect example of what a successful team is within the FGC.

We are successful because we do things in a certain way. There are guidelines that we follow and it is a constant reminder of who we are and where we come from. The four stones of DMG is what makes the foundation of the brand and shapes up what the future will bring us; Loyalty, Honor, Humility, Respect.

Over the years other players within the FGC, came together following DMG's footsteps of building a team. There have been teams that never made it past the early stages of being successful, however there are some teams have emerged from the FGC and have achieved their level of success respectfully; AlwaysGodlike, The Fighter's Alliance, Team Spooky and FightNation EX.
