November 2nd - 5th 2017 in Downtown Detroit
Cobo Center & Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center
It's been another year of fun and cosplay, we've all made new friends and gone on new adventures. But now again it's time to say our goodbyes and stay in contact with one another. We hope you've enjoyed the con as much as we enjoyed putting it on for you and we hope we see all of you next year too! Bring some friends, and do a new group cosplay! We look forward to seeing all your pictures from this year, hearing about your experiences, seeing all the cool swag you got from the venders hall, and most importantly, you next year!

Once again Youmacon is proud to announce the return of the Garage Sale!
The Garage Sale will take place Thursday night between 6PM and 9PM in the Renaissance Center's 3rd Level Ambassador Room. Half tables are available for $20 each on a first come, first serve basis.
So we hear that you like food, and you like a good variety. There are a lot of great choices down in the food court of the RenCen, and there's the food court at Cobo as well. But then we though, "Hey! Let's try something new." So we organized a Food Truck Rally just for you.
Saturday the 4th from 11am until 6pm in Spirit Plaza on Woodward, just across the street from Hart Plaza. Enjoy.
BIG heads up to our attendees! There will be a race on Sunday that is unrelated to the convention. Here is a map of the race. Please keep this in mind for your navigation.
This year Youmacon is proud to announce and honor several guests from overseas who work in the Japanese anime and video game industry—SAWA, Mamoru Yokota and Junichi Hayama. SAWA (oftentimes credited as Nadia) is known for her lyrics and vocals on the soundtracks of “The World Ends With You,” “K-ON,” “Hetalia,” “Overlord,” “Final Fantasy Type-0” and many more! She is extremely excited to meet all of her US fans for the first time at this year's Youmacon and answer your burning questions about the Japanese music industry. In terms of animation, we have two veterans of the anime industry. Yokota has worked on shows such as “Kanon,” “Air,” “Death Note” and “Naruto” as well as video games such as “BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II.” Hayama worked on “Fist of the North Star,” “JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood,” “Gundam Build Fighters” and “Yu-Gi-Oh: The Dark Side of Dimensions.”
Registration for Youmacon 2017 is now closed, however badges will still be available at-the-door inside Cobo Center. For more details, check out our Registration Page.
Pre-Registration for 3-day badges has been extended through September 30th.
