Round trip

Detour Alert!: Access from Michigan Avenue to Evergreen Road is closed through Youmacon, so if your route takes you down Michigan Avenue, you'll need to take the following detour.

If you're traveling from the south on Southfield Freeway (M-39), which includes those traveling from the west on I-94, exit at Michigan Avenue as directed, but stay on Southfield Road northbound instead of taking the westbound ramp to Michigan Avenue. When you approach the traffic light at Hubbard Drive, make a U-turn left over the expressway to travel south on Southfield Road. Pass by Fairlane Town Center and turn right onto Burlwood Drive, where the blue Hyatt sign is. The Hyatt is the tall curved building that reflects the sky.

If you're traveling from the west or east on Michigan Avenue, which includes those traveling from the east on I-94, exit at Michigan Avenue as directed, then take the exit towards Southfield Freeway (M-39) north, but stay on Southfield Road northbound instead of merging onto the expressway.

Access from Evergreen Road to Michigan Avenue is still open, so all routes exiting the convention don't require a detour.
