The VAT room covers the spectrum of fan-created videos, including AMVs, M@Ds, parodies, and more. Upon entering, you may encounter a music video contest screening, a variety of VAT panels, or a selection of the best fan-created videos from around the world.

The Youmacon Video/Audio Track is pleased to have The AMV Wars return once again to run their signature AMV challenge events. Having run their events at conventions such as Ohayocon, Anime Weekend Atlanta, and Anime Central, we are honored that they still refer to us as their home convention. The Event

The ever-popular challenge famous in Japan where you pit two chefs against each other and force them to make a meal is back with an otaku twist! Instead of chefs, we have AMV editors, and instead of making a meal, they make an AMV. We provide the footage and they supply the expertise. Come watch the action unfold as we give them two hours, a secret ingredient, and a theme chosen by you! Did we mention the free swag?

VAT Dance

In our never ending quest to provide the most entertainment for your buck we are proud to present The VAT Dance! This dance shall bring music to you in the form of music videos. Come groove to music from around the world and from all genre's. Grab a partner and enjoy a slow dance or just hop onto the dance floor and do your thing during the rave songs. The choice is up to you!
